Description
As a little child, Simone was in foster care before being adopted by her grandparents. Her gymnastics class, where she loved to tumble and spin in the air, was an anchor in her life. She began her career as an athlete aged just 14, and by 19, she had won four gold medals for the USA. Despite all the hardships she faced, she became one of the greatest athletes of all time, and an advocate for mental health awareness.
