CASTLE CAT

The second collaboration by author Alasdair Hutton and illustrator William Gorman is inspired by a character from Alasdair’s earlier book, The Tattoo Fox. This appealing new picture book tells the origin story of the Castle Cat. When a hungry kitten follows two soldiers he sees in a fish and chip shop, hoping to be fed some scraps, the journey takes an unexpected turn when he finds himself taken to a new home at Edinburgh Castle. But will the wee kitten ever really find his place in the bustle of life in the busy city?
