UNWRITTEN WOMAN (PB)

A love letter to the author’s lost father; an exploration of the silent women in Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde; an elevation of the woman of colour, shouting from the cultural sidelines - this is a call to see the woman in the stories we read and tell ourselves. Hannah Lavery is an award-winning poet and playwright. She is Edinburgh’s current Makar, an associate artist with the National Theatre of Scotland and one of the winners of the Peggy Ramsay/Film4 Award 2022. Her debut poetry collection was published in March 2022.
