PEOPLES CITY (ONE CITY TRUST)

In this collection of stories, established and emerging writers celebrate the city of Edinburgh, its literature and its people. In the Botanic Gardens, a family learns about its unconventional beginnings; in Leith, a young writer first encounters the city she will eventually call home; in Sandy Bell's, late love blooms after a first encounter as students; brothers meet after many years apart and walk the streets together; in Portobello, a young couple are finding their way in twentieth-century life. All proceeds will go to the OneCity Trust, which campaigns for social justice.
